History:

  • "Sirni" is a talking battle axe that is a bit of braggart and loves to show off.
  • "Sirni" hangs above the hearth in the Trip Away Inn.
  • Flip Krongovsko, the male gnome owner of the Trip Away Inn and bartender, tells Drakara that he won "Sirni" in a card game from a dwarf enchanter.
  • Another inn patron tells Drakara that a dying elf patron put Sirni in Flip's charge.
  • Amber asks "Sirni" if she would like to join her on new adventures, but "Sirni" seems happy above the hearth.
  • "Sirni" was impressed with Amber's drumming and tales of adventure.
  • Sirni's Story of Secret Shame
  • "Sirni" was forged over 30 years ago by Rolinar the Sanguine, a red dragonborn, loser.
  • Rolinar angrily rejected "Sirni" into the bartop of the Trip Away Inn.
  • Rolinar soon forged himself a spear from the same mysterious red metal as "Sirni", but did not give the spear sentience. He made that mistake once, and won't do it again.
  • "Sirni" asked the bunch of random dudes to take her to confront Rolinar in the Vilage of Lakehead so she could gloat at how much better her existence was without him.
  • Rolinar attacked the bunch of random dudes and was killed.
  • "Sirni" has asked to be brought back to the Trip Away Inn.

    Design Notes:

As a sentient weapon, "Sirni" is unique.
