This is an old iron key of elvish design.

Once per day, Hima's House Key provides advantage on a sleight of hand or thieves tools' check to open a lock.

History:

  • When Hima of Astera was just a toddler, the forest settlement where she was born was raided and destroyed - whether by orcs, humans, or something fouler, she never learned.
  • The only memory that remains is the feel of her mother's fingers slipping from her as she placed an iron key in her hand and pushed her into a hollow log, whispering one last word: "Run."
  • Hima has been using Hima's House Key ever since to open barriers and, just maybe, lead her to a new place to call home.
