Plate of the Myrmidon
(armor, legendary)

Last Updated: October 25, 2024
Campaign: The Lost Mine

This suit of plate armor has a blue metallic sheen with platinum filigree - reminiscent of swirling water - adorning its edges.

The Plate of the Myrmidon is Plate Armor +3. It provides a +3 bonus to AC.

Pearl's Plate has been reinforced with adamantine, one of the hardest substances in existence. While you're wearing it, any critical hit against you becomes a normal hit, unless the weapon used is made of adamantine.

History:

  • Near the ruined village of Qwendyn lay a pond that was the source of a nearby stream.
  • A water elemental, known as a Myrmidon, had been bonded to a magical suit of plate armor and forced to protect the pond.
  • Pearl laid claim to the Plate of the Myrmidon once the party fought and released it from its forced servitude.

    Design Notes:

    Its value is 51,600 gp.
+ 1,500 gp for the Plate Armor (base equipment)
+ 100 gp for adamantine armor (uncommon ability)
+ 50,000 gp for AC +3 (legendary ability)
