Crimdrac the Dracolich

  • April 2022 Guild Build Entry
  • Based on a Crimdrac's Claw from the Darkness Rising campaign.

  • Beauty shots - note the missing left front claw (and its shadow) in the first pic

    Under Construction

  • First iteration - used halloween rat and bird skeleton and toothpicks and glue

  • second iteration - wings needed to be bigger, changed headpiece to ear wings and added spine spikes

  • third iteration - toothpick teeth gotta go, switched to cardboard cutouts, reduced wing fingers from 7 to 5, added toothpick thumbs to front claws and wings needed to be even bigger

  • covered wings, ear wings and spine spikes with kleenex soaked in 50/50 white glue/water mix

  • basecoat = mod podge/vanilla/drop of yellow mix, burnt umber wash, vanilla drybrush, neon green eyes, and added tear and stitch to wing
