Campaign: The Lost Mine

This necklace holds a wooden disc shaped pendant, one side is embossed with a mug of ale, while the other side is filligreed with copper gears.
The outer rim of the pendant is decorated with a pair of entwined copper snakes.
Holding the pendant close to your face, one can detect a faint smell of old, ale-stained wood and hear faint ticking and whirring noises coming from within.

You are immune to contracting any disease while you wear "Periapt of Immunity and Good Fortune".
If you are already infected with a disease, the effects of the disease are suppressed while you wear "Periapt of Immunity and Good Fortune".

In addition, poisons have no effect on you while you wear "Periapt of Immunity and Good Fortune".
You are immune to the poisoned condition and have immunity to poison damage.

While wearing the "Periapt of Immunity and Good Fortune", you can regain 4d4 + 4 hit points when you drink a pint of beer, ale, mead, or wine.
Once the "Periapt of Immunity and Good Fortune" has restored hit points, it can't do so again until the next dawn.

When you make an attack roll while wearing the "Periapt of Immunity and Good Fortune", you can forgo rolling the d20 to get a 10 on the die.
Once used, this property can't be used again until the next dawn.

History:

  • Sigh Onic liked to show off his "Scuro's Double-Proof Periapt" that he found at the tower of the Old Owl Well. Sigh claimed it dates back all the way to the ancient Netherese empire.
  • Oddly enough, Obsidiana Moonsong found and purchased a similar "Double-Proof Periapt" for sale from Linene Graywind, the master of the Phandalin Lionshields outpost.
  • Obsidiana Moonsong calls her periapt the "Periapt of Immunity and Good Fortune".
  • Obsidiana found a gnomish arcane armorsmith, travelling with a recent Lionshields Merchant Caravan visiting Phandalin, who was able to increase the magic of her "Periapt of Immunity and Good Fortune".

    - 500 gp for the abilities of a periapt of proof against poison (rare item)
    - 100 gp for the abilities of a periapt of health (uncommon item)
    - 100 gp for the abilites of the Amulet of the Drunkard (uncommon item) from Explorer's Guide to Wildemount
    - 50 gp for the abilites of the Clockwork Amulet (common item) from Xanathar's guide p137
