These goggles have a distinct owl motif and are fitted with dark crystal lenses.

While wearing the "Goggles of the Owlette", you have darkvision out to a range of 60 feet.
If you already have darkvision, wearing the goggles increases its range by 60 feet.

While wearing the "Goggles of the Owlette", you can see much better than normal out to a range of 1 foot.
You have advantage on Intelligence (Investigation) checks that rely on sight while searching an area or studying an object within that range.

History:

  • Obsidiana Moonsong, a female albino drow bard, was able to find and purchase the "Goggles of the Owlette" from a scout travelling with a recent Lionshields Merchant Caravan visiting Phandalin.

    Design Notes:

    Its value is 200 gp.
    - 100 gp for Eyes of Minute Seeing (uncommon item).
    - 100 gp for Goggle of Night (uncommon item).
