This is a typical rapier in excellent condition.

"Rumba" is a magic Rapier +2, which provides a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls.

History:

  • "Rumba" was once wielded by Lady Leilara Bouvelard, the Duchess of Farway.
  • Xenon Wilde claimed "Rumba" after he subdued Lady Leilara Bouvelard in combat and in her bed.
  • The "Xenon maneuver" involves a lot of dancing in combat, and "Rumba" is Xenon Wilde's new dance partner.
  • Xenon Wilde takes full advantage of his "Slippers of Spider Climbing" to make fights more three dimensional.
  • Xenon Wilde will also enhance "Rumba" with his Booming Blade spell to have his opponents reconsider their next step, thereby giving him the edge while dancing around them - Boomshakalaka!

    Design Notes:

    Its cost is 525 gp.
    = 25 gp for the rapier
    = +500 gp for the +2 hit/damage (rare ability).
