  • You have a +1 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC.
  • You also have advantage on initiative rolls and Wisdom (Perception) checks.

    History:

  • Coryn Reyydark was able to find and purchase a sentinel shield that also provided extra protection from a a gnomish arcane armorsmith, travelling with a recent Lionshields Merchant Caravan visiting Phandalin.

    Design Notes:

    Its cost is 200 gp.
    - 100 gp for the shield +1 (uncommon item).
    - 100 gp for the sentinel shield (uncommon item).
