This round light steel shield has a black eye of Gruumsh symbol emblazed on it.

"Parbazz" the 'elf basher' is a round Light Steel Shield +1.

However, in the hands of an orc-blooded worshipper of Gruumsh it acts as a Light Steel Bashing Shield +3. The shield acts as a +3 weapon when used to bash and has a base damage of 1d6. In addition, for orc-blooded Gruumsh worshipers, it allows a free action shield bash which stacks with other quantities such as haste, speed and so on.

    History:

  • Deep in the bowels of the Grey Citidel lies the tomb of Tursk the One-Tusk (once a chosen of Gruumsh).
  • When the wanderers of the Wyld opened the sarcophagus of Tursk the One-Tusk, there was no body.
  • Instead, was the sword "Parslik" the 'elf slicer' and the shield "Parbazz" the 'elf basher'.
  • A map was carved into the bottom showing lands that are now the Kingdom of Kern, and an X, with the symbol of Gruumsh above it.
  • Perhaps the map will lead to the true tomb of Tursk the One-Tusk.
  • Cherry used Noir, a dragon blade with the strength of adamantine, to deface the map to make it harder for others to find the tomb.
  • Vanark Tork, the half-orc Ranger, has claimed both "Parslik" and "Parbazz" for now.
