Flaws

7-Inch Heels (flaw 1)

  • You insist on looking your best on adventure and during battle. Since you are always wearing high-heels you move exceptionally slowly.
  • Your base land speed is halved (round down to the nearest 5 foot interval).
  • Similar to the Flaw: Slow.

    Evil Genius Syndrome

  • You are an evil genius (of course), but unfortunately you also suffer from Evil Genius Syndrome or EGS for short. When this syndrome is activated you may explain how big a genius you are and describe in tedious detail your evil plans. Or you may simply have an overconfident verbal outburst or place too much faith in your incompetent minions. There are many examples of EGS in popular culture. Here is a typical case. The Joker and his minions capture Batman and Robin. Instead of just shooting them, the Joker has B&R tied to a stone slab with a sharp pendulum blade swinging high above them. The blade slowly descends towards the heroes, while the Joker explains his plans to destroy Gotham City. Time is pressing so the Joker and his thralls leave to start their evil deeds and they leave B&R to the mercy of the blade. Of course, the blade simply cuts the rope and Batman and Robin are freed after which they foil the plot.
  • When applied to Morticia invoking the flaw can’t always foil such a magnificent scheme. A simple example could be: Morticia orders a minion to kill a captive and leaves the minion to do the deed. The incompetent minion may not complete the task. Also, Morticia will usually try to build her power and control in careful increments. Invoking EGS may have her inadvertently spill her grand evil plan.

    Campaign Notes

    Chapter 8 - Red Wizards have placed a bounty on Morticia for 1,000 gp, if captured alive. The Red Wizards claim she is a renegade mage and wanted for murder.

    Chapter 10 - Morticia found herself pregnant after attending Dolora's all-night 'birthday' party.

    Chapter 14 - Red Wizards have raised the bounty being offered for Morticia from 1,000 gp to 5,000 gp. Xanatrar "Gomez" the Mage gave the "Mask of the Eternal Sunshine", which transforms a person's features into that of a specific grey elven female, to his beloved Morticia Buvarr to help her evade the bounty placed upon her by the Red Wizards.

    Chapter 16 - Morticia has told her companions to only address her as "Sunshine" while using her grey elf persona.

    Chapter 19 - Red Wizards have raised the bounty being offered for Morticia from 5,000 gp to 25,000 gp.

    Chapter 20 - Morticia plans to write Xanatrar a "Dear Gomez" letter to break up with him. Learned Turdious Stool is still alive and seeking revenge on Morticia. Turdious Stool captured Morticia and ripped out her unborn demon child, then released her. Morticia infected with the Black Withering, but cured by Church of Bane.
