Flaws

Hunted (flaw 1)

  • You have been accused of a crime (falsely or not, your choice) and are being actively hunted down for it.
  • DM EYES ONLY.

    Stubborn (flaw 2)

  • You don't change your mind very often, if at all. Once you've decided on a course of action, you follow through no matter what. Attempts to convince you that you are wrong roll off your back with no effect.
  • Can be activated up to twice per day by DM, and twice per day by other players in order to prevent you from changing your mind..
  • In addition, you suffer a -4 penalty on social interactions dealing with haggling or bargaining of any sort. When you want a certain price, you don't tend to be willing to sway on it.

    Campaign Notes

Chapter 1 - Apparently, Manshoon, a Free Agent of the Black Network and director of the Faithful of Bane in Unther, is Barid's secret patron.

Chapter 8 - Barid did not wake up the morning after the long night. Apparently, Shodan had cut off and misplaced his head somewhere.

Chapter 13 - while unconcious, Barid claims to have "raised" her from the dead, requiring the "sacrifice" of her now missing Guantlets of Destruction (6,610 gp)

Chapter 19 - Barid took Oriana and Shodan to the Church of Bane to be raised, but also arranged to have Geas spells cast on them too.
For Oriana, she has been told:
"You will follow instructions from Grand Bloodletter (Head of Church of Bane) and from Barid Belmedar to safely bring the Church of Bane within the city of Waterdeep to be an accepted part of Waterdeep without betraying, causing harm, and/or risk to the Grand Bloodletter, Barid Belemedar or the Church of Bane."
