Gimble Vanark is a male forest gnome fighter from the gnomish village in a nearby forest.
Gimble loves playing chess and played the game for hours with his grandfather. He enjoyed the strategy of it all, especially outmaneuvering his opponents to guarantee his victory. It pained him when his grandfather passed away, but was pleased to learn that his grandfather had gifted him his Lucky Glass Queen chess piece. Now, he won't play a game without it, since he believes his grandfather's spirit is there watching over him as he plays.
Gimble was awarded a medal by his village for helping to repel the goblin invasion last year. With his knowledge of chess, he was able to lead his fellow villagers and outmaneuver the goblins, forcing those not slain, to retreat. Gimble personally slew the goblin raider's leader, and took the goblin's dagger as a trophy of his victory.
Gimble has decided to explore the outside world...
Chapter 1
Gimble and Himo slept in and missed going out on patrol with the rest of Team A. The two of them got into some mischief of their own. They don't talk about it.
Chapter 2
Gimble and Hima were left to guard the two egg-nappers while the rest of the group went after the big bad boss. Gimble decided this was boring, and left Hima alone to guard the captives, while he raced to catch up to the team.
Chapter 3
Gimble has decided to pursue the path of the Eldritch Knight.
Gimble purchased a mastercraft rapier (60 gp) and a mastercraft light crossbow (60 gp) from Kitaela Kragblade.
He also purchased 5 Flame Bolts (25 gp) from Hasha Atkar.
And got Weaver to introduce him to Aeverys so he could procur components for a find familar spell (10 gp x3).
Gimble then summoned is own Owl familiar "Dorito".

Gimble opens with a salvo of three magic missiles at the black dragon across the cave, then with a surge of adrenalin, launches a flaming bolt from his crossbow at the beast, injuring it further. Hima then scored a critical hit against the wyrmling, piercing its throat with an arrow. The creature screeched in pain, as Yotte sang a melody of dissonant whispers into its psyche, shattering its soul and dropping the dragon dead.
Rolinar swung feebly at Amber and Sirni, missing completely. Automatically reacting, Gimble hurled three magic missiles at Rolinar, agravating his wounds. Her arrow ready, and acting on instinct, Hima critically hit the red dragonborn through the skull, killing him instantly.
Chapter 4
