    History:

  • A Helm of Vigilance is often given to a sentry responsible for guarding important and wealthy nobles and merchants.
  • Lady Oriana used to have a Helm of Vigilance that provided a +2 competence bonus to Spot checks (400 gp value), but it was sacrificed to the Gods to bring her back to life after being poisonned by a wyvern's tail stinger.
  • Lady Oriana borrowed a bit of gold from Lord Bly's Banking and Loans to purchase another Helm of Vigilance (but this one only provides a +1 competence bonus to Spot checks).
