Interlocking chains shimmer with flecks of pearl and marble, with each link bearing the spiked fangs or talons of a green dragon dripping with acid. The middle ring bears a fiery red crystal at its centre that appears to burn with a heatless flame.

Touch of Death is a Green-Dragonfang Everbright Spiked Chain +1.

It has been enchanted with magic to provide a +1 enhancement bonus to hit and damage.

As a spiked chain, Touch of Death has:

  • reach = 5 ft or 10 ft
  • trip: can drop chain to avoid a trip
  • disarm: +2 bonus on all opposed attack rolls for disarm
  • hardness 12, hp 20

The green-dragonfang properties allow it to do +1 point of acid damage on a successful strike. This acid damage is treated as a non-magical extraordinary feature and it does not stack with any other type of acid damage that may also be dealt by this weapon.

Touch of Death's everbright properties render the weapon immune to acid damage and rusting effects. It can also produce a brilliant flash of light (2/day). All creatures within 20 feet are blinded for 1 round (Reflex DC 14 negates).

It currently has a Lesser Crystal of Fire Assault attached to it's chain.

A Lesser Crystal of Fire Assault adds 1d6 point of fire damage to the weapon’s damage. This bonus damage doesn’t stack with any other fire damage dealt by the weapon.

The Lesser Crystal of Fire Assault can be attached to any weapon with at least a +1 magic enhancement bonus. Attaching or removing the Lesser Crystal of Fire Assault from a weapon is a move action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
