This small rapier is made from cold iron. This weapon has a faint glow emanating from within it, illuminating the holy and arcane symbols adorned along its blade. Attached to its pommel is a clear crystal covered in a faint layer of condensation, that radiates chilling waves of energy.

The Pennyweight Rapier is a Small Blessed Evil Outsider Bane Cold Iron Rapier +1. It has been enchanted with magic to provide a +1 enhancement bonus to hit and damage.

Against evil outsiders, the bane property gives the Pennyweight Rapier a +3 enhancement bonus to hit instead, and does an additional +2d6+3 damage.

As a blessed weapon, the Pennyweight Rapier is treated as good-aligned for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction. This effect is continuous and requires no activation. In addition, 3 times per day, you can activate a blessed weapon to automatically confirm all critical threats against evil foes for 1 round.

The Pennyweight Rapier currently has a Lesser Crystal of Cold Assault attached to its pommel
