This dwarven waraxe has both sharp and blunt sections. Its grip is set with a diamond, a piece of jet, a sapphire, and a ruby. In addition, its blade is inlaid with both adamantine and silver, while flecks of marble and pearl shimmer across its surface, set within images of bursting stars and beaming suns. The base of its shaft is set with an amethyst that is carved in the shape of a humanoid skull.
Guifoon is a Transmuting Everbright Dwarven Waraxe +1. It has been enchanted with magic to provide a +1 enhancement bonus to hit and damage.
Guifoon's everbright properties render the weapon immune to acid damage and rusting effects. It can also produce a brilliant flash of light (2/day). All creatures within 20 feet are blinded for 1 round (Reflex DC 14 negates).
As a transmuting weapon, Guifoon can give itself the properties needed to overcome all damage reduction of any creature for 10 rounds, after it has hit the creature at least once normally.
Guifoon currently has a Lesser Truedeath Crystal attached to its shaft.
Lesser Truedeath Crystal
Magic Item Compendium (p 66)
A Lesser Truedeath Crystal adds adds an extra 1d6 points of damage to undead. The weapon also functions as a ghost touch weapon (DMG 224).
The Lesser Truedeath Crystal can be attached to any weapon with at least a +1 magic enhancement bonus. Attaching or removing the Lesser Truedeath Crystal from a weapon is a move action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
