This amulet is a golden disk on a gold chain. One side bears the image of a male lion
while the other side bears the image of a female lion.
The Gender Bender Amulet of Health grants the wearer an enhancement bonus to Constitution of +2.
The amulet is cursed in the sense that it has the unintended consequence of changing the gender
of the wearer the first time they don the amulet. This is a permanent effect and one-time transformation.
History:
Bill from Forgehill, a male dwarven fighter, was exploring a series of smuggler tunnels
with his companions beneath the Devil's Fire tavern in the town of Harborguard.
The group of adventurers found a magic gold amulet amongst the remains of a deceased smallfolk adventuer
in the lair of a carrion crawler they had just defeated down in deep crevice within the tunnels.
Being a typical dwarf, Bill from Forgehill grabbed the magic gold amulet and said, "I'll wear this."
and put it on around his neck.
At that moment, Billie from Forgehill was born, a female dwarven fighter.
She seems to be quite pleased with her new healthier body.
