This delicate and fragile looking light shield is made from darkwood. The surface is beautifully etched with a satyr dancing in a natural sylvan woodland scene.
The Shield of the Drunken Satyr is a Feycraft Light Darkwood Shield +1. It is indistinguishable from the Shield of the Dancing Satyr. Unfortunately, something went wrong during the enchantment process. Anyone in possession of the Shield of the Drunken Satyr, will feel compelled to keep it. A break enchantment will supress the curse and allow the current owner to discard the Shield of the Drunken Satyr. The DM can trigger the curse twice a game session, while the other players in total can also trigger the curse an additional two times a game session. Once activated, typically in combat or during a social encounter, the owner of the Shield of the Drunken Satyr will become intoxicated. If triggered once during an encounter, the owner will become "sickened". If triggered again during the same encounter, the owner will become "nauseated". Each activation will last 1 minute or 10 rounds. Otherwise, it provides the same benefits as a Shield of the Dancing Satyr.
Since it is made from darkwood, it is considered masterwork and has 50% the weight of a normal wooden shield along with reducing the
AC check penalty by 2 (min 0).
Base Cost = 203 gp.
As a feycraft shield, it has 10% less additional weight than a normal shield and the arcane spell failure chance is reduced by 5%.
In addition, the delicate beauty of a feycraft shield makes the wearer feel more confident, granting a +1 bonus on Bluff checks made
to deceive another creature with words, however this bonus does not apply to any other use of the Bluff skill, such as for feinting.
Feycraft shields have -1 to hardness and -5 to hp since they are more fragile.
Cost = +500 gp
It has been enchanted with a +1 enhancement bonus to its shield AC.

Shield Stats: AC = +2, max dex = na, AC check = 0, spell failure = 0%, MV = na, wt = 2 lbs, light shield, hardness = 5-1+2 = 6, hp = 7-5+10 = 12
