"Obsidiana", as she was named by her parents, in cruel irony, due to the lack of pigmentation in her skin,
was born an albino drow.
She had not been given a proper drow name suited for one of her station due to her birth "defect" (custom lineage).
This had brought shame and Lolth's displeasure to her parents great house.
She grew up being bullied by her sisters, beaten by her parents and mocked by all the noble drows.
At a later age, when she did not display any inherent drow magic abilities,
she learned that she was to be put to death, given as a sacrifice to Lolth, to bring honor back to her house.
She immediately gathered all her meager belongings and made her brave escape to the surface.
Obsidiana had heard stories of the legendary Drizz't, and hoped that she could one day meet him
and join him on one of his quests, for his ideals were similar to hers.
She was happy to have finally left the Underdark and her past behind to go on mysterious adventures
wherever the road and her destiny may take her.
She had her freedom and it was all she needed, and no one would take it away, ever.

Chapter 18
Obsidiana made contact with Captain Joham Belford, a Harper Agent that Daran Edermath recommended that she reach out to upon arrival in Farway.
Chapter 23
Obsidiana really wanted to wear those flashy Boots of Speed, but had to unattune to the Wand of Lightning to do so. Obsidiana loaned the Wand of Lightning to Corwyn for his imp familiar, Dusk II, to use. Dusk II was practically drooling as he attuned to the Wand of Lightning, stroking the Wand of Lightning as he felt the power now under his total and absolute control. Dusk II's impish grin as he blasted lightning bolts at his foes with fiendish delight suggests Obsidiana might not get her wand back... ever.
Captain Joham Belford, a Harper Agent, thanked Obsidiana and her friends for helping to defeat the duplicitous Duke Orland Beuvelard of Farway, who was the true evil, being a necromancer and leader of the Blood Moon Cult that had planned to make Farway a city of the dead in the name of Orcus. Captain Joham Belford promises to let other Harpers know of Obsidiana's deeds.
Chapter 24
Captain Joham Belford, a Harper Agent and current Regent of Farway, was able to track down a copy of a Tome of Leadership and Influence in Farway's Royal Library. Obsidiana borrowed 500 gp from both Corwyn and Deikenran to have enough funds (5,000 gp) to donate to the Royal Coffers for the privilage of reading the Tome of Leadership and Influence (which raised her Charisma to 22). The magic in the Tome of Leadership and Influence in Farway's Royal Library will now need to recharge over the next 100 years before someone else can gain its benefits.
